  • Four Dedicated USB 10Gbps Ports: Add four USB 3.2 (2x USB-A + 2x USB-C) 10Gbps ports to your system. Powered by dual ASMedia ASM3142 controllers to provide dedicated 10Gbps USB 3.2 transfer bandwidth for each port through PCIe 3.0 x4 host interface.
  • High Powered Ports: Support up to 2A/5V (10W) power on each USB-A port and up to 3A/5V (15W) power on each USB-C port. The USB card includes an optional SATA power connector to connect to your system power supply.
  • Over Current Protection: Independent Power Distribution Switch on each port to provide overcurrent, power glitches, and thermal shutdown production.
  • No driver installation is required onMacOS 10.8 to 10.10, and 10.12 and later (NOTE: MacOS 10.11 in-box driver doesn't support ASMedia USB 3.1), Win10/8, Server 2012 and later; Linux 2.6.31 and later.
  • Fully RoHS compliant. Made in Taiwan. Note: The card does not support DP Alt Mode or USB Power Delivery.

    • No driver installation is required on MacOS 10.9 to 10.10, and 10.12 and later (NOTE: MacOS 10.11 in-box driver doesn't support ASMedia USB 3.1), Win10/8, Server 2012 and later, Linux 2.6.31 and later. The OS native built-in drivers feature UASP.

 

  • Data transfer rate:
    • USB 3.2 Gen2 up to 10 Gbps each port

 

  • Power:
    • Support up to 2A/5V on each USB-A downstream port and up to 3A/5V on each USB-C downstream port
    • Overcurrent Protection. Independent Power Distribution Switch on each port to provide overcurrent, power glitches, and thermal shutdown production.
    • The 15-pin SATA power connection is optional.

 

  • When optional 15Pin SATA power installed, the 4x USB ports are powered from system power supply instead of from motherboard PCIe bus. The power supply from PCIe bus to a 4-lane/low profile card is 25W (max) per PCI Express specification.
